Just in case you haven't got the picture yet - a great deal about your next holiday could revolve around that picture postcard view. Just imagine, due to the exclusive position, shared only in its splendor by one other apartment in the whole of Lanzarote, you're going to feel like a King looking over his land.
Whenever you feel the urge, you can rise from your luxury sun lounger located on your completely secluded and spacious sun terrace and move over to the adjoining balcony and either enjoy the whole panorama or look for the other individual things that you have already, or will enjoy, in Lanzarote.
Have you ever been somewhere where it was advertised as having a sea view and then, when you get there, you either have to hang over the balcony and look sideways to see the sea or you wish the brochure had explained that there have now been trees planted in front or even worse another building has appeared sometime between the photo being taken and you arriving?
What Exactly Can You See From The Apartment (Seen HereTop Right) Suite A6 Lago Verde?
Well, we would first suggest that you glance from the head of the Puerto Del Carmen harbour wall and dart your eyes from left to right as you work further back looking out for both dolphins and whales that often visit.
Then you could stand and watch as the small fishing boats as well as the glass bottomed boat that leaves for Fuerteventura twice a day, enters and leaves the harbour.
You might want to just look over that balcony to see if family or friends are playing in the apartment complex's heated swimming pool or taking some much needed drinks from the small poolside drinks and snacks bar
You might want to look further past the pool where you will find a hundred meters away the shop where you can get your fresh cooked pastries, croissants and preserves as well as all your other daily needs.
Beyond this is the well hidden sunken area called the Montana Tropical where, along with a replica volcano and water featured grounds you too can sit and enjoy the best (and cheapest) steak in the world from Mario's Pizzeria.
In the same area you can find a couple of great Beauty Centres if someone fancies a treat and even a traditional English Butcher. Mmmmm is it going to be croissants or bacon and eggs on the covered part of the balcony for breakfast?
Is there anywhere else on the Island where you can stand and get such a magnificent sea view across the sea to the Island of Los Lobos which you can get to by boat from the harbour below and then further still to the Island of Fuerteventura just 20 minutes away by ferry.
So Where Exactly Is This Apartment?
Well that's one of the best things about it. It is in the top part of the area known as "The Old Town" or Puerto Del Carmen. 7 minutes by car from the Airport and the Taxi driver can drop you right outside the front door (ideal when you have luggage). To walk to the nearest beach is about 12 minutes at strolling place and 8 minutes to the harbour and the fresh food restaurants that surround it.
The Ports of Puerto Calero, and Playa Blanca are 10 and 20 minutes away by car and, in between, just 15 minutes away is the new Rubicon Harbour. If you you like boats you will be spoilt for where to head for first.
If you like to rent a car then the whole of the Island is easily accessible from your base here as this area is accessed just off the hub of the road network and if you like to have a holiday away from the motor then there is all you will need for both relaxation and entertainment all with in walking distance whilst, at the same time, you have the knowledge that local taxies are among the cheapest in the world and local regular public buses (large air conditioned coaches) can take you to every part of the Island

The Kitchen of this self catering apartment at Lago Verde in Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote is new and the cupboards stocked with all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you will need. The fridge will have a bottle of mineral water chilling and awaiting your arrival
The lounge of this holiday apartment is a spacious and comfortable place to either sit quietly, entertain, chat or, as the case will be, for you to stand and look out on the sea view through the extra large picture windows to the view not bettered by any accomodation in Lanzarote
The recently re-fitted bathroom befitting of any quality Lanzarote hotels is clean, large and has a cubicle shower so you can cool off or rinse the sand from your body as often as you need
Both the bedrooms make for ideal accomodation and have two single beds which are placed side by side normally in order to create one huge king size bed but can be separated for use by friends or siblings. Both bedrooms have plenty of fitted wardrobe space as well as a dresser.
The balcony area has great shade cover so that you can eat comfortably in your holiday accomodation even at mid day
The area adjoining the apartment balcony and your completely private sun terrace. With absolutely no one to see into this area you can turn your sun loungers to face the sun and your only thought for the day is whether to keep the costume on or not. The sun loungers have now been upgraded to full adjustable type so you can sit up and read if that's what you prefer

Thank you very much for your update on developments at A6. We have stayed at the Lago Verde apartment several times and formerly at another Lanzarote apartment previously owned by Peter & Jenny. Typically we have visited for a week in February to re-charge the winter worn'the batteries'. We were of course unaware of the change in ownership but were about to contact Peter to let him know that we were not planning a visit for next Feb due to a big family wedding. However as you have expressed in your newsletter Apartment suite A6 is special and having been going to Lanzarote for 12 years or so have yet to find an apartment in a better spot and have enjoyed the pleasure of one of the islands 'best kept secrets'. So please don't put us on the shelf as lapsed customers-we would love to be back on the list as one of 'the regulars' and truly hope that, like so many special places we have found, A6 does not become so popular that we can't get there again!!
